THE BULLY SHOVED A GIRL INTO THE LOCKERS… BUT HE HAD NO IDEA SOMEONE WAS WATCHING

The hallway filled with gasps in an instant.

Bruno shoved Sofía so hard her notebooks went flying. Her back slammed into the metal lockers with a hollow sound that froze everyone watching.

A red mark appeared on her cheek. The tears weren’t far behind.

Nobody moved. Nobody said a word.

Bruno laughed, straightened his jacket, and walked off like nothing happened, showing off in front of his friends.

“Nobody messes with me. Ever,” he said, without looking back.

But someone had seen everything.

At the end of the hallway, by the water fountain, a boy froze for a second. Then he started walking, slowly, straight toward Bruno.

Nobody knew who he was. Nobody imagined what was about to happen.

Bruno was about to meet the wrong person.

The boy stopped right behind Bruno, unhurried, fists unclenched, no sign at all that he was looking for a fight. He just stood there, still, as if he had all the time in the world.

“Hey,” he said.

Just one word. But something in his tone made several nearby students stop breathing.

Bruno turned around, still wearing that same smirk he’d walked away with seconds earlier, expecting to find just another nobody, someone easy to brush off. But when he looked up, the smile froze on his face little by little, as if it didn’t know what to do with what his eyes were seeing.

Standing in front of him was a face he already knew. The exact same face he had just slammed into the lockers.

The same eyes. The same eyebrows. The same jawline. The same way of furrowing his brow.

Except this time, that face had no tears. No fear. No red mark on the cheek.

He looked at Sofía, still trembling by the lockers. He looked at the boy in front of him. Back to Sofía. Back to the boy.

His confidence, the one that never left him, started cracking for the first time, right there in front of the whole hallway.

“What… the hell?” he muttered, unable to look away, his voice no longer as steady as before.

All around, nobody moved. A few students already had their phones up, quietly recording, as if they somehow knew something big was about to happen. The silence felt different now — it wasn’t the silence of nobody daring to help Sofía anymore, it was everyone waiting to see what would happen to Bruno.

The boy took one step forward. Just one. No raised voice, no need to shout or shove anyone.

“We’re twins,” he said, with that same unsettling calm from before.

Total silence.

“We have the same face,” he went on, never breaking eye contact. “The only difference… is the last thirty seconds.”

Bruno swallowed hard. For the first time in a long time, the school bully felt something he couldn’t quite name: real fear, the kind that can’t be hidden behind a smile.

In that instant, he realized he had just hit the wrong person. But he still had no idea that this was only the beginning.

Because what happened in the next few minutes in that hallway would change, forever, the way everyone at that school talked about Bruno.

And no student who was there that morning ever forgot that day.
